About Me

Dr. David L. Schoonover is a full-time Formation Therapist. David graduated with his PhD (abd) in 2019. In addition, Dr. David also has an MBA, BA, MCSSBB, CFT, LFT, and a NIH certification.

Dr. David has diverse experience connecting with and building collaborative relationships with clients of various gender identities, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations and life stages. Dr. David is devoted to promoting healing, inspiring growth, and inspiring rejuvenation in people through their relationships.

During Dr. David’s 20+ years of experience, he has been providing successful therapy to individuals, couples, and even helping businesses work more efficiently.

Zoom has allowed David to work with clients all over the country. Dr. David prefers to take a more active role in the process: Dr. David's goal is to find out what his patients truly want and give them tangible steps to get there. Although Dr. David’s therapy sessions are unconventional, they are tremendously effective. Dr. David’s therapy teaches how you identify and learn how to counter your unhealthy tendencies. 

During Dr. David’s time as a therapist, he has been able to help countless individuals and couples understand the motivations behind why they think like they do, communicate like they do, act, or react like they do, and bring light into relationships that are struggling.

David believes in an open, honest and real form of therapy to target the issues head-on.
